Branding for

Branding for
a Cafe "Kartoffan"
Project Goal: To give the existing logo a modern and lightweight update while preserving its key element — the hummingbird silhouette.
Solution: I designed a minimalist, geometric logo inspired by nature. I subtly integrated the shape of a whisk to connect the mark with the confectionery profession. This detail complements the hummingbird's character — light, swift, and graceful.
Alongside the logo redesign, I also created additional design materials for the client, including coffee packaging labels developed within the confectionery's existing visual identity system.
Project Goal: To design a logo and business card for a theatrical photographer, reflecting both his creative and mystical character.
Solution: I worked with an archetypal framework, combining the Magician and Creator archetypes. The primary logo is designed in an antique style and incorporates a lyre motif (a reference to Melpomene, the muse of theatre), the silhouette of a camera, and a glowing halo. An alternative direction was also proposed — a softer and more approachable version — however, the first, more dramatic concept was ultimately selected.
Project Goal: To develop a complete visual identity and branding system for Kartoffan, a youth-oriented fast-food café in Germany specializing in potato-based dishes.
Solution: Inspired by the brand name, I integrated
a potato shape into the letter “o” in the logo, representing the core ingredient and forming
a visual “OFF” icon — a metaphor for “turning off hunger.” This idea is further supported by
the tagline “macht hunger off” (turn off hunger).
The resulting dynamic and playful logo conveys the spirit of street food culture and a youthful energy.
In addition, I developed a comprehensive visual communication system, including:
• printed and mobile menus;
• illustrations, stickers, and packaging boxes;
• advertising banners and flags;
• POS materials for point-of-sale locations.
Project Goal: To create a logo and visual identity for Boo Pizza, a pizzeria in Germany, reflecting natural ingredients, high product quality, and a warm, approachable atmosphere.
Solution: After analyzing the market and competitors, I developed three logo concepts:
• A ghost-chef character - an unconventional and memorable approach.
• A more traditional logo featuring illustrated ingredients.
• A dynamic illustrative logo with hand-drawn hatching, designed to feel simple, authentic, and approachable.
The third concept was selected for its accurate reflection of the brand's values - naturalness, openness, and modernity. And was expanded into
a complete visual identity system including packaging, menus, and POS materials.
Project Goal: To create a distinctive logo for a confectioner, incorporating the brand name Maria Bakes Cakes in the form of a cake-inspired visual identity.
Solution: I proposed two directions — a primary logo where the name is stylized as a cake illustration, and a compact MBC monogram for use in smaller applications. Both concepts were approved by the client.
